Used Regard3D and Meshlab to create 3D point clouds of fruits from a few pictures.
Created a dataset of 5 Colombian fruits, in mature or rotten state, from filtered results of Flickr and Google Images.
Adapted a pre-trained Inception V3 model to classify the fruits and their maturation state, achieving 77% precision@1.
Developed a pipeline for the model to look at 5 different perspectives of the point cloud, outputting the average probability from the 5 images.
